CD18

I've only got 2 more days to ovulate before my projesterone draw on CD21 (tuesday). Once again hope is gone and I don't think it's going to happen this cycle. I think I'm going to really push for the trigger shot this next cycle. I mean seriously this effing sucks not being able to ovulate!!! I'm so freaking tired of the same thing. This one "little" thing that ends up being a huge obstacle for us. It's not fair.

I'm feeling the same way Amy. :( I go in for my ultrasound tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. and I am preparing to be told that it didn't work again. My OPKs are getting lighter by the day. THIS TOTALLY SUCKS!!!!

Do you think that our doctors will want to try 100 mg again or go ahead and move on to 150??? I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

I can't leave on a negative note, so I'll leave you with a little hope instead: You might just be ovulating late. At least you know you had that good sized follie at your US last week. I've been reading up on other people's experiences and it sounds like a lot of women didn't ovulate until CD 21 or 22 on Clomid.

Totally right there with ya! I hope that you do ovulate! I know how much it sucks to go through all this stuff without the results you want/need. Are you taking metformin? I've been reading that it is awesome to take with clomid. But I don't know. The whole PCOS diagnosis is new to me so I still have got a lot to learn about it. Keep the faith and perhaps you will ovulate in the next couple days. Even though my chances of ovulating this cycle are slim to none, I'm still hoping. Love ya, girl. ::bighug::

Kelly- I'm pretty sure they will bump us up to 150mg. I think you should also talk to your Dr about a trigger shot too if you go in for your US and see a good sized follie...I have a feeling you probably grew one but like me are unable to release it. It's worth bringing up to your Dr. I also read about late ovulation with the Clomid. I think tomorrow I'll use my last 2 OPKs, but continue to BD every other day and keep temping. I just can't take anymore negative OPKs.

Nessa- Thanks so much sweetie. I know you know how this goes. (sending big hugs back to you) I am taking the Metformin this cycle too, and my Dr did tell me that they kind of in a way "go hand in hand" I was up to 2000mg metformin, but talked to my Dr about lowering it to 1400mg a day because I was getting really bad reflux from it. Maybe next cycle I'll try and bump it back up to 2000mg. Are they going to start you on the Met too?
