Now THIS

First my temps look like they spiked for O...now today my OPK got darker...I think I give up.

The top test was yesterday at 2pm, bottom test today at 2pm...I tested again today at 5pm and 8pm both way lighter so I know I didn't miss a surge...

I'm really thinking these strips don't work for most people anyways... I think on TMP there are more no's then yes'... Don't be discouraged...

The amount of LH in your body will actually vary. I know mine will change quite a lot before I get a true positive. That tends to bother me psychologically too much so I don't even bother doing them until a day or two before I am due to ovulate.

Some women have a really short sharp surge which means that if they don't POAS at exactly the right time when the LH has finally reached their urine, they won't get a positive. You might be one of these.

I would go with your temp chart because aside from blood tests, they are the only way to confirm that ovulation has happened. OPKs only confirm a surge but don't necessarily mean that ovulation will occur. If you combine your temps with cervical structure and mucous observations you'll have the full tool kit and won't need OPKs anyway. :-)

Hey, I have never used OPKs before but from what I know, the LH line should be as dark as the control line for it to be considered a LH surge....that's what I read. Whether or not its realistic, I have no idea!

I use those same strips, and I definately have positives that are darker than the control line... have you gotten any of those in the past?

I know this isn't positive, I was just pointing out that it had gotten darker from the day before when they have all been blank. OPKs have never worked because I have never Oed before.
