Here's part 1...there's 6 parts on youtube, it's really amazing to see how so much goes against you having a baby even when you're perfectly healthy and fertile.

It's really cool though, they used people as sperm and places as the vagina, cervix, uterus and fallopian tubes so you can really see the crazy journey sperm have to take to get to the egg blown up to human size.
I learned a few things in the video too, random facts like:
*A man produces about 1,000 sperm with every heartbeat.
*The "entryway" into the fallopian tube is only about 3 sperm-head wide
*Out of the millions and millions of sperm that get ejaculated only a couple make it alive to the egg!!!
It's a good watch!

Hey! I watche the entire 6 episodes. They are really interesting! Wow! HOwever, I must say that they made me really depressed after that too! Makes me feel that TTC is like a close-to-impossible task.
I'm glad I watched it though, but I think I need to let the "negative emotions" sink in for a while. The reality that its is THAT difficult doesn't make the TTC entirely easier, if you know what I mean?
Still, I'm glad I believe in a God....such that not everything is mere chance.
I think it just shows what a true miracle every life really is.
We DVRed it earlier this week - you're the second person to say what a good show it is. Looking forward to seeing it!
Okay, we watched it... and thanks to National Geographic, my (obviously 12-year-old) husband now refers to my vagina as an "enormous, awe-inspiring place." ;) It was very educational though - so well done!
